Vox Populi: 2014 Undergraduate Juried Exhibition open call for submissions

Attention all Montana State University Undergraduate Students:  the Helen E. Copeland Gallery would like to extend an open call for submissions for this year’s juried exhibition.  The exhibition is open to all undergraduate students at MSU.

 

ENTRY FEES and SUBMISSION:
All artworks should be delivered to the Helen E. Copeland Gallery, on the second floor of Haynes Hall, along with a completed entry form.  Entry forms are available at Room 245, Haynes Hall.  You may also download the 2014 Vox Populi Entry Form here or on Facebook.

 

Submissions: $8.00 for up to three artworks. Artworks and entry fee should be delivered to the HECGallery in Haynes Hall – School of Art, on Tuesday February 3, 2014 from 10 am – 1 pm & 3 pm – 5 pm.

CREDIT CARDS AND CHECKS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AS PAYMENT

AWARDS:
1st Place: $100.00  *  2nd Place: $75.00  *  3rd Place: $50.00

 

ACCEPTANCE OF SUBMITTED WORKS:
Gallery director will notify those artists whose works have been accepted by 9PM on Wednesday, February 4th. If you DO NOT receive an email, your work was NOT accepted for this exhibition.

 

Artwork PICK-UP DATES:
Artists whose works have not been accepted should pick up works from the gallery on THURSDAY, February 5th, 9AM-5PM*.

Works exhibited in the show may be picked up after the exhibition is over on Friday, February 26th, 9am-5pm*.

 

*Please note that due to the lack of storage space, artworks must be collected at the above-mentioned times. The gallery is not responsible for lost or damaged artworks.

Raffle information:
There will be a drawing for raffle prizes for all artwork entries. The winning tickets will be drawn at the opening reception on Thursday, January 24, at 7PM. All participants will receive one raffle ticket for each set of entries of up to three artworks. You must be present at the reception to be eligible for the raffle prizes.
